1 D.A.R.T Control Features
1 Gain Mic In
Twist this knob to adjust the microphone's level.
Note: You can adjust the microphone and line
inputs separately and mix them as desired.
2 Mic In
This electronically balanced XLR input is designed
to take a microphone. (pin 1= ground, 2= +, 3= -).
3 Gain Line In
This knob lets you adjust the power amp to match
the input signal level; helps you prevent distortion
when you're patching in signals with higher levels.
4 Line In
Electronically balanced XLR input designed to accept
signals from the output of a mixing console
(pin 1 = ground, pin 2 = +, pin 3 = -).
5 Through
Parallel output for routing the Line signal to other
components, for instance, to additional D.A.R.T
monitors.
6 CD/Tape In
RCA phono jack input for external signal sources
such as CD players or tape decks. The incoming
stereo signal is mixed down to a monaural signal
so that both channels can be rendered.
Use the Gain Line In knob to adjust the
CD/Tape In input level.

7 EQ
Active 2-band tone controls. As expected, High boosts
and cuts treble frequencies, Low boosts and cuts
bass frequencies.
8 Limiter Status LEDs
These tricolor LEDs indicate the operating status
of the MultiBand Limiter; there is one LED for the
1" driver and the 12" speaker.
(green = signal, yellow = soft limit, red = full limit).
Caution! This LED is not a clipping indicator.
If the LED flashes red every now and then, it's ok.
This simply tells you that the limiter is operating
at full capacity.
9 Ground
Ground lift switch for separating the signal and chassis
ground when you encounter hum. The ground circuit
is severed when you press the button.
Caution: Never tape over the AC plug's ground
terminal – this endangers lives!
10 Fuse
Mains fuse. This fuse will blow in the event of a
defect or malfunction, cutting D.A.R.T off from the
mains power supply and protecting it from damage.
Replace it with the same type of fuse only.
11 Mains Input
Use the factory-included power cord to connect this
socket to a mains power supply.
Caution: Make sure the local mains voltage matches
the voltage specified on the device. Connecting the
system to the wrong mains voltage will likely destroy
D.A.R.T's electronic components, and is
not covered under warranty.
12 Power Switch
On/off switch for the D.A.R.T The switch glows red
to indicate that the unit is powered up.
