The brake fluid tester has been designed and certified according to the IEC/EN 61010-1 safety standard for
electronic measuring and testing instruments of pollution level 2.
As a digital brake fluid tester, the test probe is suitable for determining brake fluid quality (DOT4). It has
been developed for professional use in automotive repair shops and in servicing. The tested quality is
indicated by means of five LEDs in terms of "per cent of water in the brake fluid".
Self-test:
Hold the probe tip in water and press the test button. All LED should light up.
Brake liquid test:
Unscrew the lid of the brake liquid reservoir, and remove the cap from the test probe. Dip the test probe
into the brake fluid as far as the plastic rim. To check quality of the fluid, keep the button pressed for at
least 2 seconds while simultaneously reading the result indicated by the LEDs.

IMPORTANT

Wash the test probe with tap water immediately after use, then dry and replace the cap. Ensure that no
brake fluid remains on the test probe or the device.

replacement battery only. Take attention to the right polarity!
