FUNCTION
The hydraulic unit for underfloor heating/cooling systems is a set of components containing the hydraulic elements required for
the underfloor heating circuit. The hydraulic units pump the water channelled towards the underfloor heating circuit and regulate
its temperature.
2.
COMPONENTS
Components and functions:
1. Mixer:
The mixer regulates the temperature of
the underfloor heating circuit. There are
two types:
a. Single point mixer. This is a manual
mixer that can mix water within a
temperature range of 25-55ºC.
b. Variable point mixer. This mixer
is powered by a 230V electric
motor. With the aid of a central
unit and an external sensor, the
variable point mixer regulates the
flow temperature according to the
exterior temperature.
2. Pump: Types: see catalogue.
3. Shut-off valves with thermometers (flow
branch).
4. Differential pressure valve. This valve
has a calibration range of 0.1-0.6 bar.
(Optional)
5. Shut-off valves with thermometers (flow
and return branches).
6. Insulating
casing
in
polypropylene (EPP).
7. Wall mounting support.
