Important safety information

• Read this user guide in full. Please ensure all safety information is read and understood before using the Vortice.
• Only connect to the voltage and frequency shown on the serial number plate. An earth is required.
• The Vortice is designed for use with water only.
• Safety can only be assured if the Vortice is clamped firmly to a vessel with suitable stability and robustness and
placed on a level non-combustible surface.
• Ensure the Vortice is positioned so that the plug is accessible for disconnection.
• Before moving or cleaning, allow the unit to cool down and disconnect from the power supply.
• When using the Vortice at temperatures above 140°F (60°C), use a cover where possible to avoid excessive
evaporation.
• The alarm light warns that the Vortice is in a state that could cause harm. Care should be taken when investigating the
warning.
