• If the brightness of the lamp starts to fade during battery
operation, this is a sign that the battery is running out. In such
circumstances, please recharge the battery before it runs out
completely as this reduces its service life.
Maintenance, cleaning, service, disposal, guarantee
Maintenance
The lamp must not be opened by unauthorised persons! If there
seems to be a problem, please contact your dealer.
Cleaning
Please note! Cleaning the lamp regularly and thoroughly is key to
a long service life.
The lamp must be switched off with the power pack disconnected
from the mains.
Do not use any corrosive cleaning products or solvents as these
can damage the surfaces and components. Avoid wet conditions
and excess moisture. Do not turn the lamp back on until it is
completely clean and dry.
Service and repair
If you notice any damage or a fault with your lamp, it must be
checked and repaired by a specialist. This may be a qualified elec-
trician or your dealer. Damage or faults arising from unauthorised
repairs, as well as modifications to the device, misuse, negligence,
and improper or inadequate maintenance void the warranty.
Dealers and the manufacturer shall not be liable.
Disposal
The European Directive 2002/96/EC (Waste Electrical and Electron-
ic Equipment, WEEE) prohibits the disposal of electronic devices
in household waste. Please take the lamp to your local recycling
centre to dispose of it.
Warranty
Our products are subject to strict quality controls. However, if your
lamp does not function correctly, we regret this very much and
ask you to contact your dealer.
VASNER provides a 2-year warranty from the date of purchase if
the commissioning was completed in accordance with the infor-
mation in this user manual.
In the event of a fault or damage that was caused by improper
handling or installation, there shall be no claim for warranty
services.
During the warranty period, defects in the device that arise due
to material or manufacturing faults will either be repaired or
replaced, at our discretion. Replaced devices or components then
belong to VASNER. Warranty services do not lengthen the war-
ranty period nor do they trigger a new warranty altogether.
Warranty claims must be made within the warranty period and as
soon as a fault is detected.
