OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Jump Starting Vehicle Battery
1. Press button (1) 0.5 seconds to turn the jump
starter/charger on.
2. Make sure the jump starter/charger has at least
(three blue indicator lights on) indicating a 75% charge.
3. Before attempting to jump start your vehicle's 12V
battery, make sure both battery terminals are clean
for optimal connectivity.
4. Plug the jumper cables (B) into the jump starter/
charger cable power output port (7).
5. Connect cables to your vehicle's battery by
first connecting the (+) positive/red cable clamp
to the (+) positive/red terminal on your vehicle's
battery. Second, connect the (-) negative/black
cable clamp to the (-) negative/black terminal on
your vehicle's battery. IMPORTANT: An illuminated
red flashing LED on the jumper cable's safety
device (8) indicates the cable clamp connections to
the battery terminals are reversed. Switch the cable
clamp connections and the red LED will go off.
6. Start the vehicle.
7. Disconnect immediately after starting the engine.
WARNING
Do Not crank engine for more than 4 continuous
seconds. This can cause damage to the jump starter/
charger or the vehicle's battery. If the engine fails to
start after 5 seconds of continuous cranking, remove
the jumper cables from the vehicle's battery and wait
one minute before re-connecting and trying again.
This can cause the jump starter/charger and cables
to become very warm and the unit to not operate.
IMPORTANT:
A fully illuminated (Always on) red
LED on the cable safety device indicates that the
jump starter does not have enough voltage to start
the vehicle. Disconnect the cables for one minute and
wait for the red LED to go off. (Indicating the voltage
has recovered in the unit before trying to start the
vehicle again.)
