HDMI
The connected HDMI device does not display a picture.
•
Disconnect the HDMI cable and connect it again.
•
Switch off the HDMI device and switch it back on.
•
The video input of the connected device must be set to this device.
•
The utilised HDMI cable must be fully HDMI compatible. A picture may not be dis-
played correctly if a non-standard cable is connected.
The connected HDMI device does not output sound.
•
Some HDMI-compatible devices do not have a sound output (refer to the operating
instructions of the connected device).
•
If your television does not have a Dolby Digital or MPEG decoder, go to the Settings
menu and set the option
[HDMI PCM]
to
Resetting the device
One of the following problems occurs:
•
The display of the control panel does not work.
•
The device does not work without disruptions.
The device can be reset as follows:
•
Call up the menu "
•
Select this item and press GPVGT to reset all entered settings and to restore the fac-
tory settings of the device.
