Unbalanced Source to Balanced Destination
If using a single-core shielded cable to connect a 2-wire unbalanced
source to the WP22BU-D XLR input or an RCA or stereo jack unbal-
anced output signal from the WP22BU-D to a balanced input on another
device, connect the positive output of the unbalanced source to the
positive input of the balanced destination. Connect both the source and
destination input grounds together and short the negative input of the
destination to ground at the input of the destination.

For the same connection using a 2-core shielded cable, connect the
positive and ground as before, but short the negative conductor to the
shield at the source connection.
