Do not obstruct the ventilation openings in the room where the burner is installed to prevent:
- the generation of toxic or explosive mixtures;
- an inadequate air combustion, which would cause a dangerous, expensive and polluting working.
Do not leave the burner exposed to rain, snow and freeze.
The room of the burner shall be always kept clean and free from volatile substances, which could be taken inside
the fan and obstruct the inside ducts of the burner or of the combustion head. The powder is extremely dangerous,
especially if it settles on the fan blades, where it will reduce the ventilation and cause pollution during the combustion.
The powder could also settle on the back side of the flame stabiliser disk in the combustion head and cause a poor
air-fuel mixture.
The burner shall be fed by the kind of fuel it was intended as shown on its data plate with the technical features
mentioned in this manual. The line of the fuel feeding the burner shall be perfectly sealed, with the interposition of
a metallic expansion joint with flange connection or screwed joint. Also it shall be provided with all the control and
safety devices in compliance with the regulations in force. Make sure that no external materials enter the line during
the installation.
Make sure that the electric system is in compliance with the features shown on the data plate and in this manual.
The burner shall be properly connected to a safe earthing system, in compliance with the regulations in force. In case
of doubt, ask qualified personnel to accurately inspect the installation.
Do not exchange the cables of the neutral with the cables of the phase.
The burner could be connected to the electric network by a plug-socket connection, only if this is provided in such
a way that the configuration of the coupling prevents the reversal of the phase and of the neutral. Install a main
switch in the control panel for the heating unit, in compliance with the current regulations.
The whole electric system and all the sections of the cables shall be adequate to the maximum value of power absorbed
and shown in the data plate and in this manual.
The feeding cable shall be replaced by qualified personnel only.
Never touch the burner with wet parts of the body or barefooted.
Never pull electric cables and keep them distant from heat sources.
The length of the cables shall allow the opening of the burner and of the boiler door.
The electric connection shall be effected by qualified personnel only and in compliance with the regulations in force
as to electricity.
After removing the packing material, make sure that the contents has suffered no damage during the transport. In
case of doubt, do not use the burner and contact the supplier. The packing material (wooden crates, paperboard,
plastic bags, foamed polystyrene, etc.) represents a pollution form and may become a source of hazard. It shall be
gathered and disposed in a proper way.
