7.5 Displaying network configurations
In order to display the network configuration, proceed as follows:
Î Click the Status main menu.
The following information will be displayed in Network:
• LAN IP address
• LAN network / netmask
• Gateway
• Nameserver 1
• Nameserver 2
See chapter 9.1 Network configuration on page 28.
7.6 Displaying remote access over Internet
In order to display the status of the remote access via Internet, proceed as follows:
Î Click the Status main menu.
On the Remote access over Internet tab, the status of Use VBus.net for
remote access? is displayed.
If the remote acces via VBus.net is enabled, the user e-mail address for VBus.net
will be displayed.

Basic configuration
In order to carry out the basic configuration, proceed as follows:
Î Finding the KM1 Communication module by means of the DeviceDiscoveryTool.
Î Changing the web interface language.
Î Changing the Live data screen language.
Î Changing the user password.
Î Changing the device name.
Î Changing the time configuration.
Î Configuring automatic firmware update configuration.
Î Changing the remote access password.
8.1 Finding the KM1 Communication module by means of the Device-
DiscoveryTool
The DeviceDiscoveryTool is a software that displays RESOL products that are con-
nected directly via the local network.
Note
The factory setting for both user name and password is admin.

Starting the DeviceDiscoveryTool from the CD is possible under a Win-
dows operating system only.
To start the DeviceDiscoveryTool, Java (version 6 or higher) must be in-
stalled on the computer.
Starting the DeviceDiscoveryTool from the included CD
In order to start the DeviceDiscoveryTool from the included CD, proceed as follows:
Î Open the DeviceDiscoveryTool folder.
Î Start the Start DeviceDiscoveryToolSetup.exe.
Î Confirm all following dialogues with OK.
Î Click Start / Programs / RESOL / DeviceDiscoveryTool / DeviceDiscov-
eryTool.
All LAN-enabled RESOL products found are displayed.
Î Click the KM1 Communication module to mark it.
Î Click Open.
A new window opens.
Î Enter user name and password.
The Home screen of the KM1 Communication module web interface opens.
8.2 Changing the web interface language
The web interface can be run in different languages.
Î Click one of the small flags on the right-hand side of the Home screen, accord-
ing to the desired language:
• German
• English
• French
• Spanish
• Italian
The message Language selection successful! appears.
8.3 Changing the display
In order to select the language of the web interface, proceed as follows:
Î In the main menu Device Config, select the sub-menu General.
Î On the General Configuration tab, in the dropdown menu Default Lan-
guage, select one of the following languages:
