Storage capacity
Note: Wine bottles come in a variety of shapes and sizes, some of which may not be compatible with the wine shelf
configuration within this particular model cabinet. Therefore, it may be necessary to remove or relocate shelves to alternate
tier positions to suit your requirements. As such, the actual number of bottles you may be able to store may vary. We designed
this Wine Cooler to store 21 traditional (750ml) wine bottles. i.e.
Tier 1: 4 bottles
Tier 2: 4 bottles
Tier 3: 4 bottles
Tier 4: 4 bottles
Lower compartment: 5 bottles horizontally bulk stacked (2 on 3).
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Care of Wooden Cabinetry
To maintain the high quality finish of your wine cabinet do not expose it to direct sunlight or excessive temperatures; extreme
changes in humidity can cause warping.
Always use coasters, pads, cloth or felt to protect the furniture surface from moisture and hot dishes. Blot spills immediately
with a clean cloth.
To clean the surface use a soft, clean, lint–free cloth, using a non–silicone and non–wax polish. Do not use soap, water or wax.
Defrosting your Wine Cooler
Defrost the Wine Cooler when the frost accumulated on the evaporator is about 5 mm (1/5") thick. Unplug the power cord.
Defrosting usually takes a few hours. After defrosting, reset thermostat to the desired temperature. To defrost quickly, remove
wines from the Wine Cooler and leave the door open. Never use a knife or metal implement to remove/scrape ice/frost from
the evaporator coil, as you may accidentally puncture/pierce the refrigeration cooling lines and this
the manufacturer's warranty.
Cleaning your Wine Cooler
•
Unplug the Wine Cooler, and remove the wine bottles and shelves.
•
Wash the inside surfaces with a warm water and baking soda solution. The solution should be about 2
tablespoons of baking soda to a quart of water.
•
Wash the shelves with a mild detergent solution.
•
Wring excess solution out of the sponge or cloth before cleaning the area of the controls, or any electrical
parts.
•
Wash the outside cabinet with warm water and mild liquid detergent. Rinse well and wipe dry with a
clean soft cloth.
Vacation time
•
Short vacations: Leave the Wine Cooler operating during vacations of less than 3 weeks.
