5. Position the cooler over the VGA
card as shown below in the picture,
align the screws to fit the four (4)
mounting holes available around the
GPU and put the cooler through
until there is a contact.
Note: Make sure that the VGA
Cooler does not interfere with the
VGA card capacitors or other
components.
6. While supporting the cooler with
your hand gently turn the VGA
over. Locate the four screws from
the Akasa cooler and place
the plastic insulation washers (part F)
over each of the four screws.
7. Secure the cooler with the collar
nuts (part B), one for each screw,
tighten the nuts gradually in a
crosswise manner.
Note: Do not over tight the screws
as it can damage the VGA card.
8. Install and secure the VGA card with
new cooler in the motherboard slot.
Note: Some VGA cards (i.e. HD2900
with 512MB) have memory chips on
both sides ofthe board. To cool the
chips on the back side o fthe
card use AK-VMC-01BK memory
heatsinks.
9. Connect the 3-pin fan connector to the motherboard fan header
(picture 9.A) or using the adapter (part D) directly to the PSU
(picture 9.B).
Note: If you connect the VGA cooler directly to the motherboard,
ensure any smart/auto fan control for the connector used has been
disabled in BIOS (if applicable).
