G. The tripod connection is located on the bottom side. This makes it pos-
sible to attach the device to standard tripods.
COMMISSIONING AND BASIC FUNCTIONS
Unscrew the battery compartment cap (B) and insert the battery into the
compartment with the (+) pole facing down according to the label on the
side. Close the cap and ensure a clean fit for a watertight connection. Only
one or both batteries can be inserted at the same time. Under perfect condi-
tions, this results in an operating time of up to 8 hours.
HINT:
If the minus temperature is particularly low, keep one of the batteries in the
inside pocket of your jacket. This keeps it warm and maintains full capacity.
Just insert it into the empty compartment if necessary and the device will
continue to work without interruption.
There are three function keys A, B and C on top of the device with which
both the basic functions and the menu can be controlled.
