AVOIDING HUMMING NOISES
In some cases very annoying humming noises can occur. There are some ways to avoid or limit this
phenomenon, below please find some:
Try using audio equipment with balanced (symmetrical) audio outputs, a balanced audio line is less
sensitive for possible interferences. Of course you should use good quality balanced audio cables!
If you audio equipment has no balanced output, you can do 2 things:
Put your audio equipment as close as possible to the subwoofer and use SHORT audio cables.
Add a good quality DI-box in the audio line to convert the unbalanced cable to a balanced one.
Put the ground lift switch (6) in the position "lift" to break any possible ground loop. (see previous chapter)
TRANSPORT
The CPX-1510 system is designed to be transported as a very compact
volume.
Unplug all cables and let the system cool down.
The CPX-1510SUB has 4 wheels on the back. Put the Subwoofer on its
wheels.
Place the 2 CPX-1510SAT cabinets on top with the speaker grills facing
down.
Make sure to secure the complete system during
transport, for example with special ratchet tie down
assembly as shown. (not included!)
