2. CONNECTION
FIRST

• Make all connections securely.
• Any unused connections should be insulated with electrical insulation tape.

Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the car battery.
Memo • On cars fitted with computers and other such devices (e.g. head units with
security code), you may loose the memory when disconnecting the negative lead.
