Changes to this function will affect all cycles.
Changing heating temperature (F6)
This function changes the maintain
temperature. This function lowers maintain
temperature by 10°C.
If a wash temperature in a cycle is normally
90°C, it can be set to 80°C by enabling this
function.
Value
Function
0
Normal (default)
1
Temperature decrease by 10°C.
Changes to this function will affect all cycles.
Enabling drum rotation during take-in
and drain (F7)
When executing particularly delicate wash
diagrams it is appropriate to keep the drum
still while the machine is taking in or draining.
Value
Function
0
drum action enabled
1
no drum action during take-in/drain
This function is to be enabled for every
single cycle.
Caution! The drum still turns once
clockwise and once counterclockwise
before pausing and waiting for the
prescribed water level to be reached.
Adjustment of heating hystheresis (F8)
This parameter controls temperature
precision during maintain steps; when the
temperature setting is reached, the heating
goes off and the water starts to cool down.
This function determines by how many
degrees the water can cool down before the
heating goes on again.
The smaller the value set for this function
(being 2 the minimum), the sooner heaters
will switch on.
Value
Function
2
the heaters get back on 2°C below
the temperature setting.
3
the heaters get back on 3°C below
the temperature setting.
4
4°C° below the temperature setting.
5
5°C° below the temperature setting.
6
6°C° below the temperature setting.
Assuming that this function is set to value 3
for a 60°C cycle, the machine will heat the
water up to 60°C and then the heaters go off:
the heaters will go back on only when the
temperature drops to 57°, and will stay on
until the 60°C setting is reached again.
Viewing the time to the end of the cycle (F9)
It is possible to decide whether the time read
is the effective duration of the selected wash
diagram or an absolutely arbitrary value that
can be set. Caution! This reading is
nonetheless a reference and does by no
means influence the effective duration or
the features of the wash diagram, whatever
the value we may assign to it.
Value
Function
0
The display reads the effective
cycle time
1
Arbitrary reading.
Thus the function " ti " is enabled, which is
to be configured with the values, expressed
in minutes that the display must read, for
each cycle.
Enable cycles (Ci)
Stored cycles can be enabled/disabled singly
(they can be included/discarded from the list
of those that can be selected) using the " P "
push-button.
Value
Function
0
Disables cycle
1
Enables cycle (default)
If all cycles should be disabled by mistake,
then the displays will read "CYCLE" after
programming is exited. Press PROG to solve
the fault and re-set "Ci" correctly.
Caution!
Disabled cycles are NOT discarded and
lost but simply hidden from the user
interface. They can be added to the list of
available cycles at any time.
CAUTION!
The last selectable cycle is the one termed
"t", i.e. the TEST cycle. This is the cycle
used for the machine's functional testing:
never use this selection with a wash load!
Setting door lock type (L0)
It is possible to select the lock type to be
controlled by the electronic card following
machine type, i.e.:
Value
Function
0
Door lock for handle with black
button to be pressed when opening
and closing the door.
1
Door lock for handle with no button.
2
Door lock for automatic door
opening at the end of a cycle (no
handle). This is the correct
configuration for the model this
manual refers to.
Three different door lock types are so
selected, following the handle that the door
is equipped with.
If this selection is wrong the card will trip
alarm E6 or E7 on cycle start. Reset the
alarm as explained on section 7.7, and set the
selection right.

7.4 USEFUL ADVICE

- Remember that loading 80% of the rated
capacity provides better wash results.
- Mind that more soap does not mean better
wash: on the contrary, using too much
washing agent only leads to unnecessary
pollution. The right amount of soap is
indicated by the manufacturer according to
the relevant water hardness.
Unless specifically advised against, the use
19
of the water economiser is warmly
recommended and so is the reduction of
maximum temperature, in order to curb water
and energy consumption and consequently
reduce cycle length.
Before loading the laundry make sure that
buttons, zips, clasps and buckles are facing
inside Check that the pockets are empty.
At the end of the job do the following:
- leave the door open;
- turn the machine off by the master switch;
- close the warm water, cold water and steam
taps (the latter applies to steam-heated
machines only);
- turn the wall cutoff switch off.

7.5 WASH PROGRAMS

Cycle steps are detailed in the user-friendly
tables attached.
If the machine has been programmed via PC
or the optional functions dealt with in section
7.3 have been enabled, cycle tables do not
apply.
The manufacturer reserves the right to change
cycle features or the machine's standard
programs at any time.
7.6 WARNING
- Do not leave the machine on to no purpose.
TURN the main switch OFF when the
machine is not being used.
During use:
- Only open the door when the drum is still
and drained.
- In case of a voltage drop occur during a
wash cycle, it will only be possible to open
the door by jerking downwards the manual
puller located beneath the door (see fig.2).
Before making use of this device, ensure that
the water has been drained, that the drum has
come to a stop and that the temperature in the
drum is below 40°C.
- Before any maintenance or cleaning
operation, check that the wall cutoff switch
is off and the warm water, cold water and
steam taps are closed (the latter applies to
steam-heated machines only).
- Do not machine-wash fabrics that have
been cleaned, dampened, washed or stain-
removed with inflammable or explosive
substances. Otherwise, hand-wash them first.
- Keep inflammable liquids far from the
washing machine, in a dry and ventilated
spot, out of the reach of outsiders.
- Keep cleaning products and washing
powder far from the machine, if possible,
closed in a cabinet.
- Do not hamper air inlets or heat-exchanging
openings. Keep an appropriate distance
between the machine and the walls or other
objects.
7.7 ALARMS
All alarms appear on the TIME display.
1) Door open alarm: if the "START" or
"PROG" buttons have been pressed but the
door is open, the cycle does not start and it is
