3. Use the top handles to close the Top Cooking Lid. Move the Pressing Handle towards the
Temperature Control Dial and gently press down to flatten the dough.
Note: If you over flatten the dough it can break apart.
4. Open the Top Cooking Lid and rotate the flat dough on the Bottom Cooking Plate to the
center for even heat distribution. Once bubbles begin to form on the uncooked side you
may flip your Tortilla/Flatbread to cook the other side.
Warning: Do not use Metal utensils to flip Tortillas/ Flatbreads as they may damage the Non-
Stick coating. Only Wooden or heat resistant Plastic utensils may be used.
5. The Tortilla/Flatbread will puff up. This is normal as there is trapped steam within the
flatbread. Gently close the Top Lid on the Tortilla/Flatbread to ensure the rise is even and
remove from heat.
6. Your Tortilla/Flatbread is now ready to Eat!
7. Turn the Temperature Control Dial to OFF and unplug the appliance from the electric
outlet.
WARNING: Always unplug the product from the electrical outlet when it is not in use or will
be left unattended.
8. Allow the appliance to cool completely before cleaning or storing.
Cleaning Your Tortilla/Flatbread Maker:

NOTICE: Never immerse any part of this appliance.
1. Make sure the appliance has cooled. Use a soft damp cloth to wipe the Top and Bottom
cooking plates.
2. Using a soft dry cloth, dry the plates and store.
Recipes and Tips:
• Dough may dry out quickly so it is important to keep it covered with a moist towel. Keeping
your dough extra moist yet firm will result in lighter and smoother flat bread. You may also
add small amounts of water to the dough to keep it moist before cooking.
• Give the mixed dough at least 30 minutes of resting time before shaping it into balls. Keep
dough covered while it rests.
• To keep cooked flatbread moist and warm, wrap in a slightly damp cotton towel. You can
also use a tortilla holder.
• Any remaining Flatbread or Tortillas can be stored in your refrigerator. Stack the
tortillas/flatbread with a small piece of wax paper dividing layers. Seal the stack in a plastic
