2 Recommended liquids:
When working at low temperatures always use a liquid suitable
for the lowest temperature at which the unit is capable of
achieving, see the list of recommended liquids below. When
using a flow cooler up to 30
recommended liquid.
For the RB-12A and RB-22A units:

For the RB-5A units:

Again check with health and safety procedures before using
above 30
c. There is no liquid which will cover the full range

of working temperatures. The RB-12A & RB-22A units are
designed to work up to 40
The RB-5A can be used up to 150°c but unit should be turned
off when operating at temperatures above 80°c.
3 Hoses should be as short as possible and secured with clips.
4 The whole system should be insulated as much as possible.
5 Set up the bath on a flat surface.
6 For fixing the thermoregulator to the bridge, see the
thermoregulator manual.
7 If external circulation has been chosen suitable hoses should
be fitted to the outlet and return pipes of the thermoregulator.
Always securely clip the hoses in place. A suitable hose is one of
16mm bore and capable of withstanding both the temperature of
operation and the liquid being used. 12mm bore hose may be used
if the hose is soft such as silicone rubber.
8 If the system is of a small bore or the viscosity of the liquid
prevents the flow being maintained, a by-pass should be
incorporated in the system.
