General information and safety warnings
Use the appliance for its intended use only.
The appliance is intended for household use only not for commercial purposes.
In order to protect against the risk of electric shock, do not immerse any part of the
steam cleaner into water or any other liquids.
Ensure the voltage on the rating plate matches the mains power supply. To avoid a
circuit overload, do not operate another high wattage appliance in the same circuit.
Never pull cord to disconnect from outlet; instead, grasp plug and pull to disconnect.
During use, do not lift the appliance by power cord.
Always disconnect the plug of the appliance from electrical outlet when filling the water
reservoir with water or emptying and when not in use.
Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord or if the appliance has been dropped
or damaged, it must be taken to a qualified technician for examination and repair.
Incorrect re-assembly can cause a risk of electric shock when the steam cleaner is used.
Keep the steam cleaner and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years of age at
all times.
During use, always position the steam cleaner on a stable, level and horizontal surface.
Place the steam cleaner in a position where the power cord does not obstruct use.
Do not allow power cord or supply hose to touch the hot surface.
Burns can occur from touching hot metal parts, hot water or steam. Use caution when
using the appliance. Do not touch the hot plate until it has cooled down completely.
Never use the steam cleaner around other people especially young children because the
steam can cause burns.
The steam cleaner must not be left unattended while it is connected to the supply
mains.
The steam cleaner is not to be used if it has been dropped, if there are visible signs of
damage or if it is leaking.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a qualified person in order to avoid
a hazard.
