Also the maximum power of the system is obtained at its nominal input level,
and working above it does not translate into better results.
KEY Systems are equipped with an input monitoring system that will prevent the
cabinet from being continuously operated at excessive input signal levels. After a long
period (more than 5 minutes) of exposure to high input levels, the cabinet will enter in
Input Overload Protection mode, meaning that:
- The output signal will be reduced by
20dB
- All leds on the back panel will be lit
- The front power led will blink
- They keypad will be locked
- A message will be shown in the LCD

To recover the normal operation mode, the input level should be reduced below
+5dBu (1.4V). After the level reduction, the system needs around 10 seconds to
recover the normal operation mode
