Rubber suction lip: Attach the rubber suction lip into the suction opening as the following
picture shows. The rubber suction lip is suited for smaller amounts of water or liquid or for
sensitive surface which could be damaged or scratched by the crevice nozzle.

Hold the suction opening directly to the dust. When sucking liquid or water please do only
•
suck small amounts of liquid. Please note the water full indicator and do not suck more
liquid than indicated. Sucking more liquid could cause damage.
After having finished switch off and empty the dust container (see chapter "Cleaning and
•
storing"). Please do not exceed the dust full indicator. Empty the dust container after each
use. If it is overfilled, dirt could fall off the suction opening while using the unit.
Never place the unit near any sources of heat like oven.

Ensure that the suction opening is not blocked by debris, hair etc. to avoid reduced suction
•
power or overheating of the unit.

Cleaning and storing

Caution danger of electrical shock! Never immerse the appliance cord and plug into
water. The connector parts must not get wet. Contact of electrical parts with moisture
cause short circuit and damage. Let the unit cool down before cleaning and storing it.
Always switch OFF before cleaning.

Clean container and filter after each use to keep full suction power.
•
Hold cleaner in vertical position with nozzle end pointing downward.
•
Press the release button, tilt the dust container slightly downward and pull it gently out.:

Never use force while removing (or attaching) the dust container to avoid damage.
•
With use of force the cut-outs at the dust container could break.
Remove the permanent filter and the cover of the filter.
•
Empty the dust cover and the permanet filter. If necessary you can wash with clear water.
•
Rinse with lukewarm water and let dry the permanent filter completely.
•
Note: never use a hairdryer for drying the pemanent filter. Hot air can damage the
permanent filter.
To reassemble the unit attach filter cover and the permanent filter into the unit and fix firmly.
•
Ensure that it fits exactly. Connect the container with the motor part again.
•
To avoid damage and scratches on the plastic surface never use sharp edged or metallic
•
objects or sharp cleaning solvents to clean.
