SR SUNTOUR - OWNERS MANUAL

GENERAL INFORMATION ON THE X-OFF Vboxx

►When you change gears, make sure that the
grip shift lever is properly engaged. If it is
placed between two gears the clutches in-
side the box will not work properly, causing
the gears to slip through, thus risking dama-
ge to the internals of the box.
►Avoid shifting under load. The internals of
your V-BOXX were not constructed for shif-
ting actions under load, so you risk dama-
ging the V-BOXX
►When you are shifting you should decrease
the load on the V-BOXX. If you are shifting
under load the tension of the shifting cable
is too high. As a result of this, the shifter can
not be turned. Please do not use any force to
try to shift under load.
►Do not try to open the gear box! It's a
closed, sealed system. Therefore almost
maintenance free. Opening it voids the war-
ranty of your gearbox. Only certified V-BOXX
menchanics are allowed to open the gear
box. If there is any problem with the gearbox,

contact your local dealer for assistance.
►Damage that your dealer cannot repair must
be send in through that dealer to one of our
„Vboxx Service Stations". These are listed at
www.srsuntour-tuning-base.com and on
page 14.
►Avoid sliding over rocks. Even your V-BOXX
casting looks very stable, the main casting
(No.5) is vulnerable because it was produced
through an extrusion method and is made
of Alloy.
►While shifting it can happen that you hear
some kind of metallic noises coming from
the boxx. This is mainly caused by the clut-
ches and is not unusual.
►When ridinding in specific gears it may hap-
pen that you can hear some kind of „clip-
clop" noises coming from the boxx. This is
caused by the clutches which are skiping
over and nothing you should worry about.
