b. Press in the spindle-lock button and loosen
the collet nut counterclockwise with the
wrench provided (Fig. 5).
c. Place the properly sized collet into the spindle
(1/8" or 1/4").
d. Insert the bit shank into the collet. Ensure that
the collet only contacts the bit shank and that
the cutting flutes are fully exposed (Fig. 6).
e. Screw the collet nut onto the spindle.
f. Press in the spindle-lock button and tighten
the collet nut clockwise with the wrench
provided.
g. To remove or change the bit, reverse the
procedure.
INSTALLING AND REMOVING BELT CLIP
Your tool is equipped with a removable belt clip
that can be positioned on the left side of the tool
for convenient transport.
To install the belt clip onto the tool
a. Remove the battery pack from the tool.
b. Align the rib of the belt clip with the threaded
hole on the base of the tool.
c. Insert the screw and securely tighten the
screw with a screwdriver.
To remove the belt clip from the tool
a. Remove the battery pack from the tool.
b. Use a screwdriver to loosen the screw that
attaches the belt clip to the tool.
c. Remove the screw and the belt clip.
