6.5 Function Control

A function control muss be carried out after assembling the MD 20. After starting the device will
appear in the display the last programmed settings. The data in the display and the lamp on
motor 1 will illuminate.

6.5.1 Electronicmotor

Adjust the motor speed to 40,000 rpm with the key "Speed". Press footcontrol plate and the motor
operates and accelerates up to 40,000 rpm. Release footcontrol plate and the motor reduces
the speed.

6.5.2 Pump

Briefly press the Pump-button on the footcontrol to start the pump. Press plate on the footcontrol
to start the pump and the electronicmotor. Water will squirt from the cooling tube.

6.5.3 Electronicalmotor rotational speed

Briefly press Motor-button on the footcontrol to change the motor rotational direction. Press plate
on footcontrol and the motor rotates to the left and a warning tone will sound. Release plate to
stop the motor and tone sound.

6.5.4 Program

Briefly press Program button on the footcontrol and the program switches form one to two.
Press Program button once again and the program switches from two to three.
