TROUBLESHOOTING

Normal operating

• The sound of running water indicates that the compressor is working correctly.
• A bang sound indicates a sudden change in temperature. This is a normal change in
the stresses of the materials used in the manufacture of the refrigerator.
• The Compressor heats up when underworked – the highest temperature is 90°C.
When the left and right side of the refrigerator heats up and when underworked, the
two sides can reach an average of 55°C. The outer panels of refrigerator shows
condensation as a result of excessive humidity in the air – please dry it off.
Please check the following prior to requesting a call for service.
Problem
The refrigerator stops
working.
The Compressor is not
working.
Unit is running yet not
getting cold.
The door can't be closed.
Possible cause
Mains plug is not plugged
in or loose.
The thermostat is set too
high.
The unit is overloaded
affecting the cold air flow.
Hot food has been placed
in the refrigerator.
The door has not been
closed properly.
The door has been
opened and closed too
many times in a short
period.
The refrigerator is near the
heater.
The thermostat position is
too low.
The surrounding
temperature is too high or
the unit is in direct sunlight.
Solution
Check that the mains plug
is plugged into the socket.
Turn the thermostat to a
warmer setting.
Please look at the safety
instructions section.
Please look at the
operation section.
Close the door.
Keep the door closed.
Do not place the unit near
a heat source. Pleace
look at the transport and
placement section.
Turn the thermostat to a
colder setting.
Place the unit in another
area, not near a heat
source and outside direct
sunlight as written in the
transport and placement
section.
