Concrete ceiling installation
Note:
You can install the projector mount to any concrete surface with a minimum 6˝ thickness. For
concrete installation, use concrete anchors (¼˝ recommended) to secure the mounting hardware,
and a masonry drill bit to drill the pilot holes. You may need other hardware items (anchors, drill bits)
that are not supplied with this kit, but you can purchase them at your local hardware store.
Step 1
- Place the ceiling plate into position against the ceiling/wall.
- Using the ceiling plate as a template, mark o four (4) mounting holes to be used for securing the
mount, and place the ceiling plate aside.
Step 2
- Drill a pilot hole in the center of each mark using a hand held drill and a 3/18˝ (9.5mm) drill bit.
- Insert the W-B concrete anchors (4) into each hole until they are leveled with the concrete surface. If
necessary, a hammer can be used to lightly tap each anchor into place until they are leveled with
the ceiling/wall.
Step 3
- Once all the anchors are in place, move the ceiling plate back into position. Attach the W-C washer
(4) and the W-A concrete screw on each hole and tighten. Do not fully tighten until all bolts are
in place.
- Once all bolts are in place tighten with a Phillips screwdriver until fully tight.
