DX12 is a compressed-air driven fl uid
evacuator for effi cient and simple evacuation
and fi lling of non-explosive fl uids.
Do not modify or replace any components
on the DX12.
Always handle fl uids according to local
safety regulations. All service must be
per formed by a qualifi ed professional.
The DX12 is supplied with two suction
tubes and one suction/draining hose.
Do not use the DX12 to evacuate solvents, fuel or other explosive fl uids. This may result in explosions
and serious injuries. Regularly verify the operating condition of the safety relief valve.
Discard old brake fl uid according to local regulations.
Never remove the container cover when the DX12 is pressurised, i.e. when the pressure gauge shows
plus (+). Never use the unit if the pressure gauge reading is in the red range. To prevent blocking,
keep the safety relief valve in the cover clean.
Care should always be taken when handling fl uids to prevent spilling fl uid on painted surfaces.
The paint can become seriously damaged.
If the DX12 is used to evacuate different types of fl uids that later will be reused, the container should be
thoroughly cleaned or replaced with a clean container prior to evacuation of the fl uid.
Never store battery acid in unit. When used with battery acid, clean unit thoroughty.

• Before connecting compressed air,
set the operation handle to the
neutral position.
• Connect compressed air (5.5-12 bar)
and verify that the suction/draining
hose is securely connected to the
quick coupling on the cover.
Mobile use without compressed-air connection
The DX12 can be "charged" with compressed air. This enables mobile use.
• Disconnect the suction tube from the suction/draining hose and connect the compressed air line.
• Turn the operation handle to the suction position and keep it in position until the pressure gauge reading is in the green range.
Reset the handle to the neutral position and disconnect the compressed air line. The DX12 is now ready for mobile use.
NOTE! The duration of mobile use of the unit before new charging is required depends on fl uid viscosity and the
amount of air that are sucked in.

Suction tube
• Select the suction tube with the
largest possible diameter. Insert the
tube in the container and suck up
the fl uid by turning the operation
handle to the suction position (left).
NOTE! The suction hose is evacuated
automatically when the operation
handle is set to the neutral position.
Handle different types of fl uids
separately. If fl uids are mixed
and later reused, this may cause
serious breakdown.

• Drain the DX12 by turning the
opera tion handle to the draining
position (right).
• Please note that fl uid is drained via
the suction tube. Keep in mind that
the evacuation time is affected by the
dimension of the suction tube.
NOTE! The lock lever must be
pressed to enable turning of the
operation handle.
