5. SETTING SIGNAL STRENGTH
The MegaView
66 is equipped with an automatic signal strength controller.
With the MegaView 65
''Length'' button [8]. This function uses 12 positions. Once you pass position 12, you
automatically start again at position 1. When the function is at position 1, the LED will
turn red [9].
1.
Sequentially push the button until the LED turns red (position 1).
2.
Now, successively press the button until you have the best image display.
3.
The settings will be saved when you switch off the MegaView 65.
6. INSTALLATION IR RETURN (MEGAVIEW 66™)
The MegaView 66™ has a built-in "infrared return channel", which allows you to
operate the connected device from another room or through closed cabinet doors
using your own remote control.
1.
Connect the IR receiver to the MegaView 66™ receiver [5].

Position it so that it is visible to your (infrared) remote control, allowing it to
receive the transmitted commands (up to 6 metres).

The most logical place for the IR receiver is in the vicinity of your display device
(HDTV or projector).
x
By using the supplied adhesive strip, placement is possible virtually anywhere.

Experiment to find the right position before definitive attachment of the IR blaster
LED.
Attention! The adhesive strip may cause discolouration on certain surfaces, or may
leave adhesive residue when removed.
2.
Connect the IR extender cable to the MegaView 66™ transmitter [6].

Stick the IR blaster LED near the HDMI source.
x
When positioned correctly, one blaster LED can operate all A/V devices within
the same compartment of a cabinet.

Experiment to find the right position before definitive attachment of the IR
receiver.
