Installation

Note: Ensure the mounting substrate can support the weight of the appliance, where
applicable. If in doubt seek professional advice or assistance.
Remove all packaging and protective film from the appliance.

Position in a suitable location.
2.
Connect the appliance to mains power or a car cigarette lighter.
3.
WARNING: Never attempt to operate the appliance when in control of a vehicle.

Mounting on Glass

Clean the glass surface, ensuring it is free from dust and dirt.
1.
Remove the backing from one side of the adhesive pads.
2.
Fix to the feet of the appliance.
3.
Remove the rest of the backing from the pads.
4.
Attach to the glass surface.
5.
Note: Ensure that the appliance is correctly located as the adhesive pads cannot be
reused.
Rotate the display to the required angle for displaying messages.

Electrical Wiring

This appliance is supplied with a 3 pin, moulded, BS1363 plug and lead, with a 3 amp fuse as standard.
The plug is to be connected to a suitable mains socket.
This appliance is wired as follows:
• Live wire (coloured brown) to terminal marked L
• Neutral wire (coloured blue) to terminal marked N
• Earth wire (coloured green/yellow) to terminal marked E
This appliance must be earthed, using a dedicated earthing circuit.
If in doubt consult a qualified electrician.
Electrical isolation points must be kept clear of any obstructions. In the event of any emergency
disconnection being required they must be readily accessible.

Cleaning, Care and Maintenance

• Always switch off the power and disconnect the appliance from the power supply before cleaning.
• Clean exterior with a damp cloth.
