Safety instructions for use and handling of the power tool
1.6.1 Battery-powered hydraulic crimping tool
WARNING
Remove the battery before making any device settings, exchanging any tool
inserts or storing the power tool.
This precaution prevents the power tool from starting accidentally.
Store unused power tools out of the reach of children. Prevent any use of the
power tool by persons who are unfamiliar with it or haven't read these instruc-
tions.
Power tools are dangerous in the hands of untrained users. Adolescents under 16
should not use this appliance.
Maintain power tools and tool inserts carefully. Check whether all movable
parts run correctly and are not stuck, whether any parts are broken or damaged
to an extent that the power tool will no longer operate correctly. Prior to using
the power tool, have any damaged parts repaired.
Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained power tools.
Keep the handles and handle surfaces dry, clean and free from oil and grease.
Slippy handles and handle surfaces prevent safe operation and control of the power
tool in unexpected situations.
Non-observance of the safety instructions may lead to risks for the life and
health of persons, or to damage to the power tool and property in the surround-
ings.
Just one moment of inattention while operating power tools may result in serious
personal injury.
The power tool may be operated by hand only. Furthermore, it is not suitable
for continuous operation. Staionary use on the floor or in a clamping device of
whatever kind is prohibited.
This could impede access to the start/stop button and reduces the safety of use.
When working at heights, the tool must be sufficiently secured against falling
down.
Dropping power tools or attachments constitute a major risk of injury to bystanders.
