Mounting
The IN4000 Standard safety system is only allowed to
be fitted by authorized specialist personnel.
Select the mounting location and the mounting position
of the safety switch such that
• the safety switch is difficult for operators to access
when the protective device is open,
• it must be possible to check and replace the safety
switch
Bypassing the inductive safety switch by simple
means or unintentional actuation must be prevented
by appropriate installation features as per
EN ISO 14 119.
Damage to the safety switch due to mechanical
loads
Loss of the safety function
⋅ Protect safety switch against mechanical loads such
as impacts or continuous contact pressure, e.g. by
using an additional stop.
4.1 Mounting the IN40-D0101K safety
switch
The IN40-D0101K safety switch is not allowed to be
mounted flush in steel.
