low these instructions carefully and keep them with you.
1. Product description
The innovative mobile protection against martens from Gardigo.
Battery-operated, mobile and highly effective. You won't have to
get upset by unwanted visits by martens on your premises. Gardigo
Marten-Free Mobile keeps the bad-tempered pests away from your
car, house, garage, barn, loft or arbour. Immediately ready for use,
no power connection and no assembly necessary. The integrated
60-second interval switching prevents the martens from getting
used to the sound. Without the need for bothersome cabling, this
new device from Gardigo can now be immediately used in all imagi-
nable places. Place. Switch on. Marten-free. It can be attached in a
vehicle with the supplied cable ties or with screws. Depending on the
battery, permanent operation of at least 6 months.
2. Operating mode
New electronics means minimal power consumption. The device
emits high-frequency sounds lasting 60 seconds at 60-second inter-
vals. These sounds that are hardly perceptible to the human ear keep
the martens away from the vehicle and rooms. It protects cables, wi-
res and other rubber parts from marten bites. Please be aware that
the appliance will possibly start in pause mode and will then switch
into power mode. There is no technical fault.
Caution! If you want to use the Marten-Free Mobile in your
car, please note that it must be dismantled prior to the car
being washed!
Notice: If a vehicle or rooms have already been visited by martens,
the animals have most probably left their territorial markings. These
odours must be removed prior to the installation of the marten-free
device (in a vehicle preferably by driving through a car wash).
3. Technical data

• Effective range: approx. 40 m² (in closed rooms)

• Output frequency: Periodic (every 60 seconds on and off)

• Fasteners: 4 cable ties (210 mm)
4. Replacement of the battery
1. Remove the housing cover.
2. Remove the old battery from its fitting.
3. Insert four new batteries size Mono (C). When doing so, mind the
correct polarity as shown on the bottom inside the battery fitting.
4. Reattach the casing cover to the casing body with a audible click
into place and screw it.
5. General information
1. Electric appliances, packaging material etc. should be kept away
from children.
2. Dispose packaging and worn out material correctly and in an envi-
ronmentally friendly way.
3. Do only pass on the device including the operation manual.
4. Subject to change of design and technical data without notice for
the sake of constant product improvement.
6. Safety instructions
Important: Damage caused by not adhering to the operating inst-
ructions is not covered by guarantee. Gardigo accepts no liability
whatsoever for any resulting consequent damages.
• Only operate the device at its intended voltage.
• In case of repairs, only use original spare parts, to avoid serious
damage.
• Repairs or other works, e. g. changing a fuse, etc. may only be car-
ried out by an appropriately trained, skilled person.
• It must be noted that operator or connecting errors lie outside the
influence of Gardigo and we cannot accept any liability for resul-
ting damages.
• Always check whether the device is suitable for the respective
place where you intend using it.
