ATTENTION : read this booklet carefully it contains important instructions for a safe installation, use and
maintenance. Important instructions to be kept for future reference.

After removing the packaging, check the appliance for any signs of damage.
In case of visible damage, do not use it and contact a qualified technician.Do not leave parts of the packaging with
in the reach of children.This appliance is not a children's toy: it is an electrical device and must be treated with the
necessary caution.
Before connecting the appliance, make sure that the power supply voltage matches the indication on the data plate.
If the plug and socket are not compatible, the socket has to be replaced with a suitable type by skilled persons.
Do not use adapters or extension cables which do not meet current safety standards or that exceed the current
carrying capacity limits.
When you don't use the appliance disconnect it from the power supply and assure that the interruptor is off.
Do not tug on the power cable or on the appliance itself to remove the plug from the socket.
The use of any electrical appliance requires that a number of basic rulesare observed, namely:
- Never touch the appliance with wet or humid hands.
- Do not leave the appliance exposed to weathering (rain, sunlight).
- Do not subject it to rough handling.
In case of a breakdown or malfunctioning of the appliance, disconnect it at once.
Do not attempt to repair it, but take it to a service centre approved by the manufacturer.
If you decide you do not want to use this appliance any longer, disable it by cutting the power cable - of course, after
disconnecting it from the socket.
The power cable should be extended to its full lenght to avoid over heating.
For safety reasons, the appliance should never be opened.
The appliance has been designed and manufactured to operate in the home. Any other use is considered
inappropriate and dangerous.
When charging the appliance, do not lay it onto surfaces that do not resist temperatures higher than 60°C.
Place the appliance on a flat and stable surface when charging it.
Do not use the appliance on ill persons, infants or persons who are insensitive to heat.
The cable is connected to a safety appliance that is triggered if the pressure within the appliance increases
too much. If, during charging, the appliance inflates excessively, enabling the safety appliance, unplug the
power cable, do not use the appliance and contact a technical support centre.
Do not use the appliance when it is connected to its power source.
Do not use it to warm animals.
Take off your shoes if you intend to use the appliance to warm up your feet. Do not use this appliance near to a
bathtub, a shower stall, or a swimming pool.
Do not touch the appliance with sharpened objects.
Do not exert pressure on the appliance, do not squeeze it, do not place it underneath the weight of your body or
underneath part of it.
Do not drill holes in the appliance.
Do not ingest the liquid inside the appliance.
This appliance is meant to be used for medical purposes in hospitals.

Instructions for use
The appliance has been filled with water at the time it was manufactured. It is not meant to be filled by the
user.
DO NOT SUPPLY VOLTAGE TO THE APPLIANCE UNLESS THERE IS WATER INSIDE IT.
CHECK THE APPLIANCE BEFORE YOU USE IT, AND DO NOT USE IT IF YOU NOTICE IT IS BROKEN OR
THAT LIQUID IS LEAKING FROM IT.
Turn the cover of the connecting plug 2 by 180° and plug the connector to the appliance: connect the power socket
and keep it plugged until the indicator light 1 goes off (wait about 10 minutes).
Only use the power cable supplied with the appliance to charge it.
Keep the appliance in a flat position with the connector facing upward while you are charging it.
We advise you to be extra-careful handling the appliance while it is charging.
After it has finished charging, disconnect the plug from the power socket and disconnect the cable from the
appliance.
