The device is used for easy and fast enumeration of Petri dishes. With the
help of the pressure-sensitive light area and a marker pen it is easier to count
substantially - by marking the respective colony with fiber pen, the electronic
counter is increased by one.
Small Petri dishes are adapted with the help of the reducing insert.
With the frosted white milk glass plate the Petri dishes under direct lighting
(illumination) are analyzed. An indirect, side lighting, important in the counting
of Petri dishes containing medium light cultures, is achieved using the clear
glass plate with dark field.
