Final Assembly

Install the Matala mat into the vertical slot behind the pump inside the pump chamber. Fill the
basin with fresh water and plug the pump in. Adjust the flow to the spillway using the ball valve
in the pump chamber as desired. Turn off the pump. Place the pump access panel over the
pump chamber and then install the Splash Mat on top of the basin. Install decorative gravel as
desired to cover the top of the basin. Turn the pump back on and adjust the decorative gravel to
minimize splash.
Maintenance
The Splash Mat on top of the basin and Matala mat inside the pump chamber require periodic
maintenance. Remove and rinse the mats with water as needed and replace.
Winterizing
Remove any decorative gravel, Splash Ring, and/or Splash Mat from the top of the basin.
Remove the pump access panel. Using a shop-vac lower the water level below outlet
plumbing line. Loosen the union fitting and remove the pump and valve assembly from the
pump chamber. Do not lose the o-ring. Unscrew the ball valve assembly from the pump. Clean
and store the pump indoors for the winter. Use a wet/dry vacuum to remove as much water as
possible from the plumbing. Turn the handle of the ball valve to the closed position and
reinstall the ball valve assembly. The closed ball valve will prevent water from re-entering
the plumbing.
Warranty
All Atlantic Formal Spillway Basins carry a limited lifetime warranty. This warranty is
extended solely to the original purchaser commencing from the date of original purchase
receipt. A misused or abused product voids this warranty.
Formal Spillway Basin Components (Plumbing, Splash Mat, Matala Mat and Auto Fill) included
in this Kit carry a one-year warranty.
The TT-Series Pumps included in the Kit carry a 3-year Limited Warranty. Please see the
TT-Series Manual for more information.
This warranty excludes labor/cost of labor for removal or installation of any product.

Warranty Claims

In case of warranty claims, the complete product should be returned to the place of purchase
accompanied by original receipt.
