SETTING THE TIMER

This unit can be set to turn on to the TUNER or iPod automatically at a preset time as follows:

Press and hold the TIMER button for a second; "TUNER"
will blink in the display.

Select the timer ON hour using the Navigation/Preset π 1
or † 2 button, then press the TIMER button 3; the
minutes will blink. Make sure to set the correct AM or PM
setting if in 12 hour mode.
NOTES:
• You must press a button within five seconds or the clock will exit the clock setting mode.
• The timer will be reset when the power cord is disconnected or if a power failure occurs.
• To deactivate the timer function, press the TIMER button once.

Select the desired source (TUNER OR iPod) to wake up to
using the Navigation/Preset π 1 or † 2 button, then press
the TIMER button 3; the hours will blink.

Select the minutes using the Navigation/Preset π 1 or †
2 button, then press the TIMER button 3; the timer ON
time will then be set. Repeat steps 3, 4 and 5 to set the
Timer Off time. When the actual time reaches the set time,
the source you selected will turn on.
