You will observe smoke escaping from the
oven. This is normal and will disappear
progressively during this first time use.
• End the cycle by pressing on the "STOP"
button.
NOTES AND HINTS
(!) A sound signal rings when you plug in
your equipment
(!) A sound signal rings, each time a key
is pressed.
(!) If you wait for more than 30 seconds to
press on the "start/ stop" key between
two controls, the appliance will cancel
the control and will return to the clock
mode.
SETTING THE CLOCK
• Press the "Time/Temp" button once.
• The "clock" indicator turns on.
• Control the time setting with the "+" key
to increase or the "-" key to decrease.
• Press "Start/Stop"
• Indicator light turns off .
(!) In case of disconnection of the equip-
ment, time will be reset to 12H00, by
default, on connection.
TIMER CONTROL
Timer control is possible only with the "broil",
"bake" and "conv" (convection) functions.
In the "toast" function, time is pre-set and
one does not need to modify it.
To control the timer:
• Select a function "broil" "bake" or "conv"
with the help of the "select" key.
• Press the "Time/temp" key twice to
select the "timer" function.
The "timer" indicator turns on.
Apre-set cooking time appears in the display.
• 15 minutes in the " broil " mode / 30
minutes in the "bake" and "conv" mode.
• Use the "+" key to increase or "-" key to
decrease the time.
The timer setting increases and decreases
in 1-minute intervals with a regular and
rapid rollover.
• Press "start" and the countdown begins.
• The "start" indicator light turns on.
• While cooking, the "timer" indicator
remains on.
At the end of the cooking time: The oven
"beeps" 5 times and the indicators turn off.
Time appears on the display. The applian-
ce stops.
Note :
• The maximum programming time of the
timer in the "Broil" (Grill) function is 45
minutes.
• The maximum programming time of the
timer in the "Bake" (Oven) and "Conv"
(Circulated Heat) function is 1 hour 30
minutes.
• You may also use the timer by itself. It
need not be linked to the cooking function
of your oven. In this case:
• Only press the "Time/Temp" key and
select "Timer".
The indicator light turns on and the
display indicates (0.01), proceed as indi-
cated above to increase or decrease this
time and press the "start" button to start
the count-down.
At the end of the time, the oven "beeps" 5
times and the indicators turn off, and the
time appears.
TEMPERATURE CONTROL:
Only for the Broil, Bake and Conv func-
tions:
• Select 1 of these 3 cooking modes, with
the "Select" key
• Press the "Time/Temp" key to select the
Temperature function
• The temperature displayed is 500°F for
Bake and Conv: "High" and "low" appear
for Broil (dark grilling/ light grilling).
• Select the Temperature "°F" of 100 to
500°F through intervals of 25°F with the
"+ or "-" key to increase or decrease the
temperature.
