H. Start to use
H‐1 Fully charge the battery when using at the first time
Please charge the device for at least 4 hours before you begin using it. A fully charged
battery can last up to 25 hours continuously operation.
H‐2 Connect SR‐Q2100 with your PC
Power on SR‐Q2100 and then connect SR‐Q2100 with your PC by mini USB cable.
H‐3 Make sure that your GPS device is properly configured
Start the QSports/QTravel software, in Config device, set your local time zone and body
weight and make sure save it Default logging interval is 1 point every 5 seconds. Config GPS
items can be adjusted per your preference.
NOTE 1: Before starting the software utility, please make sure that the driver and the
software utility has been installed properly.
NOTE2: Qstarz PC Suite only supports SR‐Q2100. Any intention to use PC Suite connecting
GPS units other than Q2100 would result in software disconnection automatically.
H‐4 Hardware Instructions
1. Bike mode
By default, the device starts in Bike mode
cycle (switch) through each screen by pressing Select/Adjust button. The first screen shows
the following items:

1) Moving time, shown as Time
2) Odometer cumulative distance, shown as ODO in MI or KM.
3) Current speed, shown as mi/h or km/h
4) Digital compass arrow pointing north
