ENGLISH GUIDE TO THE ASSEMBLING OF EVOTECH TURN SIGNALS.
The Evotech turn signals are homologated and equipped with high brightness LED technology.
This allows to reduce the device's dimensions without precluding its performance in terms of lighting. This guarantees
top look and aerodynamic shapes.
Furthermore LED technology enables a remarkable reduction in consumption. On some applications it may be
necessary to add some resistors to guarantee a correct functioning of the system.

FIG.1 : dismantle the original indicator disconnecting the wiring. Note:the vehicle is turned off.
FIG.2 : verify the consumption of the original lighting device (for example the 10W bulb light/incandescent light)
FIG.3 : mount the Evotech turn signal in the hole you can find on the fairing or on the license plate kit.
FIG.4 : if the bike has two holes owing to the original indicator, in order to have the best result, we suggest to place
some adapter you can choose from our catalogue and in different colors.
FIG.5 : link the power cable (red color) to the red cable of Evotech indicator. Link the negative cable (black color) with
the negative pole of indicator. The most common mistake is connecting the wrong polarity. In this last case the LED is
not damaged but simply it doesn't work. Simply change connections. Then check the correct ignition of each device.
FIG.6 : because of the reduced consumption of the LED device, it can occur an incorrect ignition of indicator (light
without blinking or dysfunctional blinking). In this case it is necessary to mount some resistors. Link these devices
(cascade connection/daisy-chain connection) directly to the Evotech indicator. You can choose among 6W,10W,21W.
The consumption of resistor together with the consumption of LED device need to be as near as possible to the
original indicator consumption (Eg: You choose F.01 turn signals kit with a 0.6W consumption. The original light bulb
consumes 10W so I will use 10W resistor cod. RES-10W; 10W+0,6W = about 10W light cosumption). Evotech resistor is
very simple to install: you only need to connect it directly to the indicator light as the resistor already includes a
parallel circuit.
FIG.7 LED FLASHER: on models provided with a power relay for the switching of turn signal, is possible to avoid the use
of resistors but reather place the LED flasher device. Through this gadget the original power relay is being replaced
and the right flashing frequency of turn signals will be set. The electrical consumption is reduced and you can spare on
resistor's buying.
ATTENTION:
isolate the electrical connections in order to avoid a short-circuit and a consequent malfunction of led device.
in case of Evotech resistors choice, they could reach very high temperatures 55-60° C during their functioning.
Hence, it is necessary to isolate the resistors (FIg.6)
