SPECIAL NOTES - IMPORTANT!
•
Check your ash vacuum before turning it on. Keep cover
latches in place and in working order. Replace damaged,
missing or failed parts before using it.
•
Ensure that anyone who uses the ash vacuum is familiar with
all safety precautions.
•
Filter should be removed and thoroughly cleaned monthly or
after each 3 to 5 uses. Clean outside away from valuables! (See
step 8 on page 3).
•
Always operate the ash vacuum with the filter installed;
otherwise, dust pass-through or motor damage may result.
•
Disconnect power cord from electrical outlet before cleaning
filter, servicing or removing lid.
•
Do not use a washing machine to wash filter.
•
Do not use hair dryer or microwave to dry filter.
•
Filter should be gently tapped to remove ash build-up. Moist
ash will be tough to remove, allow to drying if necessary, then
clean when dry.
•
Do not poke at filter or rub filter as this may tear the fabric and
lead to dust pass-through.
•
Replace filter once a year, or after about 50 uses or if dust
passes through after filter cleaning, (see instructions for use
step 10 on page 3).
NOTE: General information is given throughout the
manual that may help the operator perform the
