When batteries are low, the display will show "LO". You must install new batteries.
● Operation
1. Place the scale on a level surface
2. Press the "ON/OFF" key and the display will show "18888" and then "0"
3. Place object on the weighing platform and the weight of object will show on the screen
display.
● Tare function
1. Under the weight setting, put a container on the scale and the weight of the container will
appear on the display.
2. Press the "TARE" key and the screen display will show "0", which will zero the weight of the
container. Then, add ingredients in the container and the weight will appear on the screen
display.
● Unit of measurement:
Press the "Unit" button, to change from grams to ounces.
● Overload indicator
When the weight of the objects exceeds 5 kg or 11 lbs, the scale is overloaded and the screen
display will then show the message "Err".
● Battery replacement
1. This device can only be used with AAA batteries.
2. Clean battery contacts and also those of the device prior to battery installation.
3. Should the product be unused for a long period of time, remove the batteries.
4. Leaking batteries must be replaced immediately.
5. Remove used batteries with care.
● Use and care
1. For accurate results, place the scales on a flat surface.
2. Clean the scales with a dry cloth. Do not immerse in water and do not allow water to get
inside the scales.
3. Do not use chemicals to clean the scales.
4. Do not place the scales close to electrical appliances, because radiations could change the
performance of the scales.
5. Do not place or store the scales near powerful heat resources or in a damp environment.
