Operating Instructions and Parts List
General Safety Information
(Continued)
1. Always work in a well ventilated
area.
2. Do not exceed any pressure rating
of any component in the system.
3. Protect air lines from damage and/
or punctures.
4. Check air hoses for weak or worn
condition before each use. Make
sure all connections are secure.
5. Keep all nuts, bolts and screws
tight and ensure equipment is in
safe working condition.
This
product
is specifi cally designed
for compressed air service
ONLY. Use with any
other material (liquid or gas) is a
misapplication and not permitted.
Use or injection of certain hazardous
liquids or gases in the system (such as
oxygen, alcohol or liquid petroleum
gas) will harm the unit and result in
a combustible condition or hazardous
external leakage. Misapplication will
void all warranties and manufacturer's
responsibilities.

Installation
Disconnect power and
release all pressure from the
system before attempting
to install, service, relocate or perform
any maintenance.
1. Locate the air fl ow direction arrow
(See Figure 2, detail). This arrow
shows the direction of the air fl ow,
i.e., it points to the outlet.
2. Securely mount the lubricator in a
vertical position after any fi lters or
regulators installed in the system.
3. Verify the arrow points to the
outlet (See Figure 2).
4. Install the unit with the same
pipe size as the piping in use.
Avoid using unnecessary fi ttings,
couplings, etc., that restrict
airfl ow.
5. Connect the air supply to the inlet
port.

Operation
1. Before pressurizing system,
make certain the bowl is securely
screwed into lubricator body.
2. Fill the lubricator bowl with
Campbell Hausfeld Oil (ST1270) or
clean, non-detergent SAE 10 oil.
3. The oil fl ow is controlled by the
oil feed adjustment screw. Turn
counterclockwise for more or
clockwise for less oil delivery. The
oil delivery rate automatically
adjusts with changes in air fl ow.
4. To fi ll the lubricator, fi rst shut
off the air supply and release all
stored pressure. Next, remove the
oil fi ll plug (See Figure 2). After
the oil fi ll plug has been removed,
pour oil into the lubricator and
then reinsert the oil fi ll plug.
Alternatively, the bowl can be
removed once the air pressure has
been released. Be certain to fully
tighten the bowl before resuming
operation.
