PRECAUTIONS, RESTRICTIONS AND WARNINGS
Transport conditions, warehousing and operation
The equipment must be transported and stored with the following observations:
- Carefully, to not suffer falls and neither receive impacts.
- Protected from moist, do not expose to rain, water splashes or moist floor.
- Keep in a protected place from the rain and direct sun and its original package.
- When transporting, do not move it in irregular surfaces and protect the package from
the direct rain and respect the maximum piling informed at the external part of the package.
- Room temperature range for transport or warehousing -12ºC to +50ºC.
- Room temperature range recommended by Gnatus +10ºC to +35ºC.
ATTENTION: The equipment must be only used with the power cable supplied by
Gnatus, otherwise, it can cause the increasing of the emission or reducing of the equipment's
immunity.
The equipment keeps its safety condition and efficiency, since kept (stored) as
mentioned in this operation instruction. That way, the equipment will not lose or
change its physical and dimensional characteristics.
Sensitivity to predictable environmental conditions in ordinary
situations of use
- The equipment has been designed not to be sensible to interferences as magnetic
fields, external electrical influences, electrostatic discharges, the pressure or the variation
of pressure, since the equipment is installed and kept clean, conserved, transported and
operated conforming this operation instruction.
Precautions and warnings "during the installation" of the
equipment
- The equipment should only be installed by Gnatus authorized technical assistance or
technicians.
- Position the equipment in a place where it will not get wet.
- Install the equipment in a place where it will not be damaged by pressure, temperature,
humidity, direct sunlight, dust, salts, or sulfur compounds.
- The equipment should not be submitted to inclination, excessive vibrations, or blows
(including during transportation and handling).
- This equipment was not planned for use in an environment where vapors, anesthetic
mixtures infl ammable with air, or oxygen and nitrous oxide can be detected.
- Before the first use and/or after long interruptions from work such as vacations, clean
and disinfect the equipment; eliminate air and water deposited in the internal hoses.- Insert
the batteries in the equipment before using it. Check that the power of the batteries is
enough to assure that the result of the measurement is correct. When you are going to
change the batteries, do not use new ones with old ones and don't mix alkaline batteries
with manganese batteries. In case the equipment is not to be used for a long period, the
batteries shall be removed, and this should apply in case there is a long time transportation
of the equipment.
- Check that the measurement plug is firmly connected to the inlet. The inadequate
connection can hinder the measurement.
