2. PREPARE THE COUNTERTOP AND CABINET
NOTICE: Refer to the specification sheet for cutout dimensions and
environment requirements.
NOTICE: Countertop materials require specific preparation. Refer to
the countertop manufacturer for instructions regarding
proper installation of equipment into the material.
NOTICE: Due to continuous product improvements Vollrath
recommends countertop cutouts be made after receiving the
product.
1. Refer to the Vollrath specification sheet for this product and the
specifications for the countertop material to verify material
compatibility, temperature rating, reinforcement requirements, etc.
2. Choose a flat, level countertop for the mounting surface.
3. Cut the required openings in the countertop and cabinet.
4. Clean any debris from the cut out area(s).
3. MOUNT THE DROP-IN
1. Remove the mounting screws from the underside of the shelf. There
are 4-6 screws depending on the length of the shelf.
2. Apply sealant to the cutout area to prevent moisture from penetrating
the exposed surfaces.
3. Place the shelf into the cutout.
4. Line up a bracket with a mounting hold. Re-insert the screw into the
hole. Repeat for the remaining brackets.
5. Insert the thumbscrews. Hand-tighten to secure the drop-in to the
countertop.
6. Apply sealant along the edge of the drop-on.

4. MOUNT THE CONTROL PANEL
1. Insert the USB cable into the back of the control box. Place the cable
clip over the cord and tighten the strap.
2. Apply sealant to the space between the control box and the mounting
surface to prevent moisture penetration.
3. Place the control box into the cutout. Use the included hardware to
secure the control box to the mounting surface.
4. Plug the USB cable from the control box into the bottom of the
electronics box.
5. Place the cable clip over the cord and tighten the strap.
6. Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet that matches the
voltage listed on the rating plate.
