TELEPHONE INTERFACE
General
Auta's telephone interface is an accessory, which increases auta's analogical door systems facilities. Using the conventional
telephone net, it lets communicate the external panel & door opener release with the same phone.
The system allows connection of any standard phone (3 UNITS MAXIMUM). Phones with calling by tones (Multi Frequency). With
wireless phones DECT, the maximum of units given by the manufacturer of the phones.
The telephone interface only could be incorporated
electronic call TF-92 or DECOR.
Functioning of the system
When we connect a telephone interface in a door video door system installation the following situations could be considered:
Communication between the external panel & the phone multi-frequency
When a call is made from the external panel the phone will sound approximately 20 seconds (always that the line was not
engaged). Picking up the handset we will be on line with the external panel and we could release the door opener pressing
the keys combination (*) (6).
If the handset is finally picked up after 20 seconds spent, the key (#) should be pressed to be online with the external panel.
To release the door opener we should press the keys combination (*) (6).
Call reception during a phone conversation.
If being on line we receive a call from the external panel, we will hear some tones indicating that someone calls from the
panel.
To answer this call we could either finish the conversation engaged, answer the call pressing the key (#) and then release the
door opener using the combination (*) (6) or keep the phone conversation on hold pressing the key (#) and then speech with
the external panel. Once the communication with the external panel finished press again the key (#) and the phone
conversation will be re-established.
Call reception during a conversation with the external panel.
If during a communication with the external panel a phone call is received, we will hear some tones indicating that someone
calls from the phone line.
To answer the phone call, we should proceed as above mentioned, we will press the key (#) we will press back the key (#) to
follow the conversation with the external panel. Hanging up the handset we will finish the initial communication.
Make phone calls through the phone station.
The telephone interface does not affect the normal functioning of the phone, so on to make a call pick up the handset, hold
the line tone and engage the phone number.
Communication between the multi frequency phone & the external panel.
To establish a communication from the phone station to the external panel we should pick up the handset,
and press the key (#). To release to door opener we should use the combination (*) (6).
