ADVICE IN CASE OF A FAILURE

PROBLEM THE CAUSE
The safety button / restart button hasn't
come on
The gas valve is closed / The gas canis-
ter is empty
The opening or tube of the diffuser is
obstructed
There's air in the gas pipe.
The burner
doesn't light

The piezoelectric ignition isn't working

THE SOLUTION
Push the restart button, to start the flow of
gas.
Open the valve / Replace the gas canister
Clean the opening with a brush or a fine paint
brush
Open and purge the gas tube (keep pushing
the power switch for 1-2 minutes or until
you can smell gas)
Use a match the light the pilot light. If it lights,
get a new ignition and replace the non-wor-
king one.
Clean the burner
Tighten the connection and check to see if
there's a leak
Attach the gas cylinder again
Clean the opening
Turn the switch to « HIGH FLAME »
Reconnect the gas cylinder
Reconnect the gas cylinder
Untwist the gas hose and check there is no
leak
Turn the button to « OFF », let the apparatus
cool down and make sure that the burners
and the holes aren't obstructed.
Reconnect the gas cylinder
Put the griddle on a flat surface
Clean the burner
Clean the burner of the diffuser
Turn the button to « OFF », let the apparatus
cool-down, clear any obstructions and clean
the exterior and interior of the apparatus
