3. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
3.1 Activating/deactivating the speaker/microphone
The side of the beanie contains a play/pause button for
activating or deactivating the beanie Press the button until
you hear a tone to indicate that the microphone and speaker
have turned on/off.
3.2 Charging the Bluetooth beanie
The control panel contains a micro USB cable port. Connect
the beanie by means of the micro USB cable to a USB adapter
(not supplied), and connect the adapter to the mains power
outlet. Alternatively, you can connect the micro USB cable
directly to a suitable energy source such as your computer's
USB port. After about 2 hours the battery will be completely
charged.
3.3 Pairing the hat to your Bluetooth device
1. Keep the play button pressed for minimally a few
seconds until a voice says "pairing", the indicator LED
will alternate quickly between red and blue.
2. Pair the hat to the mobile device of your choice
following the instructions below:
Attention: pairing the Bluetooth device may, depending on
the mobile device to be paired, vary lightly from the steps be-
low. In that case please follow the instructions in the manual
of your mobile device. If asked for a password, use "0000".
For iOS devices
1. Enter the 'Settings' menu. If necessary, activate
the Bluetooth functionality.
2. Now the hat will appear in the list of Bluetooth devices.
3. Select the beanie and wait until the pairing has been
carried out.
For Android devices
1. Go to 'Apps' and find the 'Settings' menu. Open the menu.
If necessary, activate the Bluetooth functionality.
2. The device will automatically detect all Bluetooth devices
in its vicinity. If it does not, please click on 'Scan' until
your beanie appears in the list.
3. Click on your beanie and wait until the pairing has been
carried out. Click on 'OK' when you are asked to confirm
the device.
Now you can enjoy your beanie, listening to the music played
on your mobile device. You will also be able to answer incom-
ing calls on your phone.
3.4 Operating the hat
Use the control panel to operate the speaker and microphone.
Switch beanie on/off, answer/end call, play/
pause music
briefly press for previous track, keep pressed for
lowering volume.

increasing volume.
4. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
– Keep the product away from sharp objects and
heating sources.
– Remove the speakers in case you want to wash the
beanie. Only replace the speakers when the hat is
completely dry.
5. CLEANING
Remove the speakers. Wash the hat on cold temperature (by
hand or machine wash). Do not tumble dry.

6. PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS

My mobile device does not find the hat in the list of
Bluetooth devices
1. Check whether the hat is within a 10-metre range
of the Bluetooth device.
2. Check whether pairing mode has been activated.
3. Click on 'scan' or 'search' to start another search for
devices in the vicinity.
I am not able to activate the hat
1. The battery may be empty. Charge the battery minimally
for 2 hours by means of a USB cable and try to activate
the hat again.
The battery does not charge
1. Check whether the hat has been correctly connected
to the USB cable.
2. Check whether the USB cable has been correctly
connected to either a USB adapter and mains, or directly
to a power source such as your laptop.
