Where is my product code?
It is physically written on the supplied CD.

Which operating system is compatible?
The product is compatible with S.O. WINDOWS starting from WINDOWS XP up to WINDOWS 10.

Which devices does the converter work with?
The converter works with devices that have RCA, SCART and S-Video cables, for example. video
recorder, cameras, decoder and DVD.

Where should the RCA Cables be connected?
The RCA Cables must be connected respectively to the back of the video recorder and the other to
the final part of the Grabber.

Can I convert my 8 mm video tapes with EASY CAPTURE?
Yes, TechSide EASY CAPUTE will allow you to record almost all types of videos until you are able
to connect your video playback device to the included capture device via RCA or S-Video
connectors.

Is this device compatible with MAC?
No, it is not compatible, but in our shop there are similar compatible products.

Connecting the device to the PC, the screen remains black, why?

Check if a SCART reducer is used, which is set in OUTPUT.

Make sure that the RCA / composite cables (yellow, red and white) are connected to the
VIDEO OUT and AUDIO OUT ports on the back of the video recorder. The ports on the
front are generally for input.

Check that within the program, the video settings are set on "OEM Device" and not on
WEBCAM, VIDEOCAMERE as often happens.

S-Video connection on DVD / VHS combo players is generally only for DVD players. We
recommend using RCA / composite cables (yellow, red and white).

Make sure the account is an administrator and not a simple user.

Is there a maximum recording time?
The maximum recording time is in relation to the available memory present on the HARD DISK of
the PC.

The video shows slowdowns

Make sure your Video Grabber is connected directly to your computer and not via a USB
hub or USB extension cable.

Close other programs that you might have running in the background and keep the
program open and in the foreground while you're capturing.

My video recorder does not have an RCA output. How can I do?
In our shop you can find a SCART adapter that converts the SCART socket to RCA.

The device emits a rustling sound
Rest assured they are simple disturbances that can occur with the PC's sound card.
The audio will be clean during recording.
