Connecting the LED
Refer to Fig. 8.1 through 8.5.
1.
Attach the two female blade connectors (B1) and (B2) to the
LED wires (A).

On the control module (3), disconnect the 12 VDC input wire
(E) from the + terminal (+).

Connect the blade adapter (C) to the + terminal (+).

Connect the black LED wire (B1) to terminal (D); connect the
red LED wire (B2) to the one side of blade (C).

Connect the 12 VDC input wire (E) to the other side of adapter
blade (C) on the control module.

NOTE:
The control module may vary in appearance, but the
procedure is identical regardless of model.
Reading the LED
If an error code is activated in the control module (3) and the LED
(A) is connected it will fl ash a number of times. The number of
fl ashes will depend on what error was recorded. Each fl ash will last
1/4 second and after the code is fl ashed there will be a delay, then
the code will repeat.
Write down all error codes; then refer to "Self-Test Diagnostic
Chart" section.
