3. Open the lock on the vacuum cleaner
waste container upwards.
4. Pull the vacuum cleaner waste container
out of the device.

5. Empty the vacuum cleaner waste con-
tainer and insert it back into the device in
the reverse order.
Note
The vacuum cleaner waste container can
be lifted at the handle using a crane. Maxi-
mum load for crane transport: 50 kg.
CAUTION
Risk of injury and damage!
Note the total weight of the vacuum cleaner
waste container when transporting with a
crane.
Do not overload the container.
Observe the applicable regulations for lift-
ing with a crane.

Shutting down

Switching off the device
1. Switch off the device at the main switch.
2. Pull out the mains plug.
Finishing operation
1. Switch off the device.
2. Remove the accessory and, if neces-
sary, flush it out with water and allow to
dry.
3. Empty the vacuum cleaner waste con-
tainer, see chapter Emptying the vacu-
um cleaner waste container.
4. Vacuum off the inside and outside of the
device and clean with a moist cloth.

Tipping and slipping of the device
during transport

When transporting in vehicles, secure the
device against slipping and tipping over ac-
cording to the applicable regulations.

Be aware of the weight of the device during
transport and storage.
1. Store the device indoors only.

Care and service

DANGER
Device unintentionally starting / electric
shock
Unintentional starting of the suction motor
can cause injuries. Voltage on electrical
components can lead to an electric shock.
Switch off the device and unplug the mains
plug before performing any work on the de-
vice.
Maintenance intervals / user
Check the motor after 500 operating hours
or every 3 months, whichever comes first.
Keep the motor clean and the ventilation
openings free. The following maintenance
is to be performed as necessary:
 Change the filter.
 Replace the filter.
WARNING
Electric shock
Electric shocks can cause serious or fatal
injury
Disconnect the device from the main circuit
before touching electrical connections. On-
ly qualified person personnel may install,
operate and service the device.
ATTENTION
Overheating of the motor
Overheating can cause the motor to fail
Check that the motor is clean. Ensure that
the inside and outside of the motor is free
from e.g. dirt, oil, grease and water.
Check whether the motor ventilation is
blocked. Ensure that the motor ventilation
is free from e.g. accumulated oil vapors and
textile particles.
